I’m the first to admit – this particular blog may be biased. After living and working on Polk the last few years, I can’t help but find it the best damn street in San Francisco. Needless to say, I expect everyone to agree with me on this one. In case you’re new to the Polk Street scene, allow me to introduce the highlights from Pine Street to Union Street.
Funky Door Bikram Yoga It’s sweaty and stinky, but it’s the best yoga ever. Perfect for sweating out those toxins you get down the street at some of SF finest bars.

Bob’s Donuts Cheap, open nearly 24 hours, delicious.
Bella Coste New and vintage clothing and home items. One of my absolute favorite SF shops.
Amelie Wine bar with perfect ambiance.

Loving Cup Incredible, organic, nutritious frozen yogurt. You must check it out now!
Bigfoot Lounge A wooden yeti waits for you in the back. What could be better?
Red Devil Lounge Live music (on an albeit small stage). Polk Street classic
Toast Breakfast, all day. Get a scramble. You will swoon!
Bow Wow Meow From “kibble to cashmere” Bow Wow’s got your pets covered
Lombardi Sports Best sporting/athletic store. And free runs, rooftop yoga and TRX classes. High five!
Golden Veggie Market Cheap, cheap cheap fresh produce. And unique ethnic cooking ingredients. Love it.

Polk Street Florists Neighborhood floral shop. Often necessary for quick gifts. Recently moved (across the street). Lovely staff.
The Crepe House Delicious, delicious crepes. Mmhhhmmm…..
Real Food Company A little pricey, but always has what you need. And open until 9pm. Often a lifesaver!
